BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS

 

On July 17, 2019, the Town Council deferred the Award of RFP # 19-07: Parks Landscape/Grounds Maintenance Services due to concerns of the proposed annual increase of $457,638.00 for Town-owned parks landscape/grounds maintenance services. Additionally, the Town Council requested that Town staff obtain a cost breakdown analysis from each of the bidders.

 

As a result of the deferment, Town staff has reevaluated the scope of services outlined in RFP No. 19-07, which included Additional Services not defined in the 2013 Parks Landscape/Grounds Maintenance Services (RFP No. 13-01).

 

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

Town staff is recommending the rejection of ALL bids received for RFP No. 19-07: Parks Landscape/Grounds Maintenance Services as per Section 200: Instructions to Bidders entitled “Acceptance or Rejection of Proposals.” (Attachment “A”)
