BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
At the June 19, 2019 Town Council Meeting, the Council adopted Resolution No. 19-43 appointing members to the Youth Council Committee with the exception of the appointment of one member to be appointed by the School District. The Town Clerk’s Office received an application, which was forwarded to the School District Liaison, Ms. La-Shanda West. Ms. West has requested that the Town Council move forward with the appointment.
The name highlighted in yellow in Exhibit “A” is the proposed appointment to the Committee. Those names not highlighted are returning students appointed in Resolution No. 19-43. Making this final appointment will complete the appointments to the Youth Council Committee for the 2019-2020 calendar school year.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Town Council adopt the Resolution appointing the School District Appointee to the Youth Council Committee.
