A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CUTLER BAY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING NEW MEMBERS TO THE YOUTH COUNCIL COMMITTEE AS PROVIDED IN EXHIBIT “A;” AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
At the beginning of each new school year, the Youth Council Committee experiences vacancies created mostly by the graduation of high school seniors. The vacancies are advertised on the Town's website in accordance with the provisions of the Town Code of Ordinances.
Information regarding the openings was provided by the Town Clerk to the principals of three area high schools. The student applications received were distributed to the Town Council Members for their consideration.
Council Members provided their appointee to the Town Clerk for inclusion in this resolution as "Exhibit A". The names highlighted in yellow are the new appointments to the Committee. Those names not highlighted are returning students previously appointed or members appointed at the September Town Council Meeting. This complete the roster for the 2018-19 School Year.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Town Council adopt the Resolution appointing members to the Youth Council Committee.
