A resolution of the mayor and town council of the town of cutler bay, florida, to appoint NEW MEMBERS AND A NEW SCHOOL DISTRICT LIAISON TO the YOUTH COUNCIL COMMITTEE; and providing for an effective date.

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
Several appointments to the Youth Council Committee (the “Committee”) have graduated, resulting in vacant positions. Members of Council have provided a committee appointment to fill the vacant positions to the Town Clerk for inclusion in the October 19, 2016 agenda. The list of appointees is attached to the Resolution as “Exhibit A”.
Additionally, as a result of a career promotion of the School District Liaison, a new School District Liaison shall be appointed. The School District has provided a School District Liaison appointment to fill the vacant position to the Town Clerk for inclusion in the October 19, 2016 agenda as outlined and attached to the Resolution as “Exhibit A”.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Town Council adopt the resolution appointing the School District Liaison, and member(s) to fill the vacant positions on the Committee.
