BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
On May 20, 2015 the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 15-37, creating an Economic Growth Committee to advise the Council with regard to marketing, attracting new businesses and supporting existing businesses within the Town.
The Town Clerk’s Office posted a Public Notice (Attachment “A”), on our Town website in order to recruit potential Committee members who met the qualifications outlined in Resolution No. 15-37. The Public Notice was posted on June 11, 2015 and Resumes were received until July 1, 2015.
Eight (8) Resumes were received, of which one (1) applicant did not meet the Town’s residency requirement, outlined in Section 3.9 of the Town Charter. The remaining seven (7) Resumes were forwarded to the Town Council for their individual review and selection.
