A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CUTLER BAY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO FERGUSON, GLASGOW, SHUSTER, SOTO INC. TO PROVIDE DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE TOWN CENTER BUILDING PLANNED COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
The Town Council adopted Resolution No. 14-71, approving the 2014-19 Strategic Master Plan which was developed using the input and feedback provided by town residents. The Town held a series of eight (8) Public Involvement meetings, which were publically advertised in local newspapers, Town's website, distributed via blast emails, and displayed on the electronic message boards placed throughout the Town.
In addition to the public involvement meetings, both Mr. Merrett Stierheim and I met individually with the Mayor and Council Members on a one-on-one basis in order to receive direct feedback and comments regarding the Town's vision and goals.
In order to realize the Town's vision and achieve its mission, the Strategic Master Plan identified nine (9) different Strategic Achievement Categories:

#3 Growth Management and Infrastructure Needs
#4 Economic and Business Development
#5 Community Identity, Unity and Pride
#6 Public Safety
#7 Parks and Recreation
