A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CUTLER BAY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A COVENANT FOR MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS ALONG OLD CUTLER ROAD FROM S.W. 87th AVENUE TO S.W. 97th AVENUE WITH MIAMI-DADE COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR AUTHORIZATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Town staff feels confident that our Old Cutler Roadway Improvement project's goal to improve public safety, ease traffic congestion, enhance traffic flow, enhance pedestrian mobility, improve function and flow of mass transit and beautify the neighborhood with streetscape improvements, was accomplished.

The following "enhancements" are identified in the Covenant for Maintenance:
* Maintenance of landscaping & irrigation system
* Decorative bus shelters (lighting) & benches including trash receptacle
* Colored concrete curbs/gutters, sidewalks, separators and crosswalks
* Decorative rock walls
* Decorative intersection brick pavers

RECOMMENDATION

We recommend that the attached resolution be adopted, authorizing the Town Manager to execute a Covenant for...
