A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CUTLER BAY, FLORIDA, PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF MARCH AS "BIKE305 MONTH"; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAL; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
In 2013, the Town Council adopted resolution number 13-20 which proclaimed the month March as "Bike305" Month. This item is on the agenda in support of Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez's effort to promote a healthy life style and highlight the connection of people to places through County Bike pathways.
BIKE305 is a fun, healthy way to explore experience and connect with Miami-Dade County and its surrounding communities. Our county's level terrain and fabulous weather make it the ideal place to leave the car behind and make true connections with friends and neighbors as you bike, walk, run or skate through beautiful, scenic greenways and trails. It's a great way to stay active and healthy and discover the people, places and things that remind us why we love to live and play in South Florida.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the attached resolution be adopted by the Town Council to further our support of this initiative.
