A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CUTLER BAY, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 07-41 BY CHANGING THE NAME OF THE CHARTER SCHOOL COMMITTEE TO THE EDUCATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE; FURTHER AMENDING RESOLUTION 07-41 BY EXPANDING THE JURISDICTION OF THE COMMITTEE AND ESTABLISHING CERTAIN COMMITTEE ACTIVITY PROTOCOLS; SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION 11-26; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
At our October 16, 2013 Regular Town Council Meeting, I presented my fellow Council Members with a resolution regarding the modification of resolution 07-41 as it relates to the Education Advisory Committee. Subsequently, on November 20, 2013 the Town Council met at a Workshop and fully discussed changes to the proposed resolution line by line.
The attached resolution is the result of changes adopted via consensus by the Town Council at the workshop as drafted by the Town Attorney and contains the underline and strikethrough style changes.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the attached resolution be adopted by the Town Council since it has now been fully vetted.
